Cancellation policy
These Terms & Conditions govern all subscription purchases made through the Monserrate Nº1 website. By subscribing to our Subscribe & Save program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms:
Some items in our store may be offered to you as a subscription, a pre-order or try before you buy. This cancellation policy lays out how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases.
Subscriptions
When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select.
Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries, unless you choose to pay in advance.
Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don't want to renew a subscription you can cancel it.
If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there.

Pre-orders
When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect no payment or a partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date.
You can cancel a partially paid pre-order order that has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can't cancel the order, but you can request a full or partial refund. See our returns policy for more details on returns and refunds.
Try before you buy
When you purchase a try before you buy item, we authorize your payment method before fulfilling the order. You will have a certain amount of time to decide if you want to keep the item. Once the time period has passed, if you have not returned the item, we will charge your payment method for the full amount.
1. Auto-Renewal
All Monserrate Nº1 subscriptions renew automatically based on the delivery frequency or prepaid plan selected at checkout. Your payment method will be charged automatically unless cancellation has been submitted according to our policy.
2. Cancellation Policy
To cancel your subscription, you must submit a written cancellation request at least 30 days before your next renewal date.

If your cancellation request is received fewer than 30 days before the renewal date, the upcoming charge and shipment will still be processed, and the cancellation will apply to the following cycle.
All processed subscription charges are non refundable.
3. Modifying Your Subscription
Subscribers may update their delivery frequency, coffee selection, or account details through their customer portal. If you require assistance or wish to request a specific coffee region that is not shown in your portal, please email us at info@monserraten1.com.
Changes must be submitted at least 30 days before your next scheduled shipment to ensure they take effect in time.
4. Skipping Deliveries
You may skip a delivery at any time through your customer portal.
Skipping a delivery does not cancel your subscription or stop future renewals.
5. Prepaid Subscriptions (3, 6, or 12 Months)
Prepaid subscriptions are charged in full at the time of purchase.
These plans renew automatically at the end of their term unless canceled 30 days before the renewal date.
Prepaid subscriptions are non refundable once processing has begun.
However, customers may cancel the auto renewal of a prepaid plan at any time by emailing info@monserraten1.com at least 30 days prior to the renewal date.
Canceling a prepaid subscription does not refund the remaining months, and all remaining deliveries within the current prepaid term will continue as scheduled.
6. Billing Authorization
By subscribing, you authorize Monserrate Nº1 and Shopify Payments (or your chosen payment provider) to store and charge your payment method automatically for each renewal cycle.
Monserrate Nº1 is not responsible for insufficient funds, overdraft fees, or bank penalties.
7. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, the system will automatically retry.
If payment cannot be processed after multiple attempts, your subscription may be paused until updated payment information is provided.
8. Delivery Schedule
Your coffee ships according to the delivery interval selected at checkout (every 2, 3, or 4 weeks). Delivery dates may vary due to roasting schedules, holidays, or carrier delays.
Monserrate Nº1 is not responsible for carrier delays or incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
9. No Refund Policy
All subscription renewals and processed orders are non refundable, including those processed because:

Cancellation was submitted past the 30 day window

Customer did not update their payment or address on time

Customer did not skip or modify their subscription on time
10. Customer Responsibility
Subscribers are responsible for:

Maintaining accurate billing and address information

Monitoring renewal dates

Managing delivery frequency

Updating preferences
-
Reading notification emails regarding their subscription
Monserrate Nº1 is not responsible for shipments sent to outdated or incorrect addresses.
